Small-sample Touchscreen Viscometer
A coaxial-cylinder measuring system for small sample quantities, with touchscreen operation and adjustable rotational speed.

Measight NDJ-1D is a small-sample coaxial-cylinder rotational viscometer. The model tables list 15–25 mL samples, depending on the spindle and cup, and the catalog speed range is 0.5–100 rpm. Timed measurements and computer connectivity support a defined laboratory workflow. Confirm the sample fill requirement, usable spindle range and external temperature-control arrangement for the ordered configuration.
Values apply to the stated configuration and test conditions.

Timed measurements help keep the test duration consistent when comparing thixotropic samples. Level the instrument before testing and record the spindle, speed and sample temperature with each result. RS232 supports connection to compatible computer software or a micro-printer; confirm the software and accessory package with the quotation.
Optional accessories include a circulating temperature-control bath, a matching jacketed test cup, a low-viscosity adapter, viscosity reference fluids and a micro-printer. Confirm the temperature probe and data-software package with the quotation.
Consider NDJ-1D when a conventional large sample container is impractical. Compare the other NDJ-1C/1D/1F configurations by the required speed and spindle working range, not just the series maximum. For particle-containing or volatile samples, ask about measuring clearance, wetted materials and any containment limits before selecting the cup.
For a NDJ-1D quotation, provide the sample, expected viscosity and unit, test temperature, required method, sample volume and reporting needs. State the destination power supply and quantity. Ask for an itemised spindle, container, temperature-equipment and software configuration, together with the available model-specific documents.
Request a configuration quoteThe model tables list 15–25 mL, so 20 mL is a configuration to check, not a universal fill instruction. Confirm the required volume for the exact spindle and cup before reserving or preparing the sample.
A temperature probe measures temperature; it does not by itself heat or cool the sample. Confirm the probe supplied with the instrument and the separate bath, cup or conditioning equipment required by the test method.
