Touchscreen Rotational Viscometer
Measight RVDV-1 is a RV-series rotational viscometer with a 5-inch touchscreen, a listed speed range of 0.3–100 rpm and standard R2–R7 spindles. It supports timed measurement and lists RS232 communication. Select the spindle and operating speed for the required test, and confirm the usable range and temperature accessories; a series-wide maximum does not define the range of every spindle.

Timed measurements help keep the test duration consistent when comparing thixotropic samples. Level the instrument before testing and record the spindle, speed and sample temperature with each result. RS232 supports connection to compatible computer software or a micro-printer; confirm the software and accessory package with the quotation.
Accessories and configuration
A thermostatic bath, low-viscosity adapter, viscosity reference fluids and micro-printer are available as optional accessories. Select the bath and sample container for the required test temperature.

R2–R7 are listed as standard, with R1 optional. Confirm the supplied set, matching sample container and immersion conditions. An optional spindle must be assessed as a specific configuration rather than added to every range claim.
Does the RVDV-1 temperature probe control the sample temperature?
A temperature probe measures temperature; it does not by itself heat or cool the sample. Confirm the probe supplied with the instrument and the separate bath, cup or conditioning equipment required by the test method.
