T-bar

T-bar Viscometer

Measight T-bar is a touchscreen rotational-viscometer configuration listing TA–TF T-bar spindles and a speed range of 0.1–200 rpm. It is a configuration to evaluate for creams, pastes and other samples whose test procedure requires a T-bar measuring system. Confirm the spindle motion, sample container and method before ordering; the spindle set alone does not establish the complete lifting arrangement.

  • Display: 5-inch touchscreen
  • Rotational speed: 0.1–200 rpm
  • Spindles: TA, TB, TC, TD, TE, TF

T-bar spindle testing

The catalog T-type configuration uses TA–TF spindles and timed measurement for formulated products such as coatings, cosmetics, resins, silicone materials and pastes. Record the spindle, speed, test temperature and movement procedure so results can be compared under the same conditions. Confirm the exact instrument and lifting configuration for the sample.

Accessories and configuration

Optional accessories include a thermostatic water bath, matching temperature-controlled test cup, micro-printer, viscosity reference fluids and Bluetooth adapter. Confirm software, probe and lifting-system configuration when requesting a quotation.

Choosing the T-bar configuration

For samples that form a channel around a rotating spindle, discuss whether a T-bar and the required vertical-motion setup suit the procedure. Record spindle identity, speed, movement conditions, temperature and test duration. Compare with a standard rotational configuration only after those method differences are understood.

What to include in your T-bar enquiry

For a T-bar quotation, provide the sample, expected viscosity and unit, test temperature, required method, sample volume and reporting needs. State the destination power supply and quantity. Ask for an itemised spindle, container, temperature-equipment and software configuration, together with the available model-specific documents.

Common questions

Can T-bar results be compared directly with standard-spindle results?

A different geometry or motion changes the test conditions. Use a defined procedure and establish comparability for the sample before substituting one configuration for another.
